Mushroom Extracrt Process Description

1. Mushroom Reception:

Our factory receives raw, dried mushrooms from our own farms or wild forests. These are transported using van-type trucks, tested in-house and by a third-party laboratory. Approved raw materials are stored in a humidity and temperature-controlled warehouse.

2. Impurity Elimination:

Dried mushrooms undergo a hand-selection process to eliminate impurities and foreign matter. Any metallic objects are removed with an automatic electromagnetic sorter or magnetic bars.

3. Washing (for Turkey tail extract only):

The dried mushrooms are thoroughly cleaned using an herbal medicine washing machine to remove dust and other particulate matter.

4. Coarse Grinding:

Dried mushrooms are processed through a coarse crusher machine to create granules.

5. Water Extraction:

The mushroom granules undergo a two-step water extraction process involving boiling and extracting.

6. Initial Filtration:

Mushroom residues are filtered out, and the aqueous filtrate is collected. The filter residues are either discarded as solid waste or further processed in an ethanol extraction step.

7. Membrane Separation (if applicable):

A membrane separation system removes heavy metals, pesticide residues, and other small molecules from the aqueous filtrate. The resulting polysaccharide extract liquid is collected for further processing.

8. First Concentration:

The polysaccharide extract liquid undergoes vacuum concentration. This concentrated extract is then either spray dried or mixed with a concentrated ethanol extract.

9. Ethanol Extraction (for dual extracts of Reishi, Chaga, and Lion’s Mane only):

Filter residues from step 6 are subject to a two-step ethanol extraction process involving heating and extraction.

10. Second Filtration (for dual extracts of Reishi, Chaga, and Lion’s Mane only):

Mushroom residues are removed using a plate-and-frame filter press. The resulting ethanol filtrate is collected and undergoes vacuum concentration.

11. Second Concentration (for dual extracts of Reishi, Chaga, and Lion’s Mane only):

The ethanol extract undergoes vacuum concentration, during which ethanol is recovered.

12. Mixture Formation:

The concentrated aqueous extract is mixed with the concentrated ethanol extract.

13. Spray Drying:

The concentrated extract from step 8 or the mixed extract from step 12 is spray-dried to form a fine powder.

14. Crushing:

Any agglomerates in the collected mushroom extracts are crushed.

15. Sieving:

A vibrating screen sieves the collected mushroom extracts to remove foreign matter and particles.

16. Final Mixing:

The extracts are thoroughly mixed using a 3D motion mixer before packaging.

17. Primary Packaging:

Extracts are weighed and sealed in PE bags. After passing a metal detection test, the products are packaged in aluminum foil bags.

18. Metal Detection:

Products are monitored by a metal detector, with any non-conforming products being reworked.

19. Secondary Packaging:

The products are packaged in cartons or fiber drums for storage and shipment.

20. Storage:

The products are stored in a finished product warehouse with controlled temperature and humidity.

21. Shipping:

Based on outbound orders, the products are shipped out of the warehouse using clean, dry van-type trucks.
